What's next?

As my Las Vegas residency nears its end, many of you have asked what I plan to do next.

After the last show on New Year's Eve 2024, Nathan, the twins, and I celebrate the arrival of 2025. Then, we will be moving back home, followed by a few weeks of peace, quiet, and solitude.

In the summer of 2025, a small tour. Dates have not yet been secured, so more details soon.

After that, who knows? Maybe a few surprises!

Stay tuned...

Interview Questions

My new album will be released soon. Unfortunately I cannot tell you all the information I know about it just yet.

To keep you entertained in the meantime, here is part of a recent interview.

What is the first thing you noticed about Nathan? His flawless skin.

What was your favorite song to write? "Back For More".

What is your least favorite song to perform? "Full Moon Vibes". I love the song, but it does not translate well from album to arena.

What is the best place you visited while on tour? Graceland.

What is your dream vacation? A cruise around the world.

Do you want more children? Nathan and I wanted two from the beginning. Having the twins worked out nicely.

Do you believe in astrology and the zodiac? Not really. Nothing can be correct, 100% of the time.

What's your favorite food? Bourbon Chicken

Name your three favorite books. Right now, I am obsessed with the Alice Oseman universe: "Solitaire", "Radio Silence", and of course the "Heartstopper" series. I adore Nick and Charlie, and wish they were real.

I also love "Night's Bishop" by Catherine Stovall. She is my favorite author of all time and deserves to be on all the best-seller lists.

What has been the most romantic night of your life? When Nathan and I went to Rome the first time.

Do you regret becoming famous? Do you miss your privacy? Sometimes I think it would be nice to walk down the street with anonymity, but then I remember that I have fans who look up to me, and the music I make. I can't imagine my life being anything other than what it is.

Would you ever go to college? If so, what for? Probably not.

What is your biggest dream not yet achieved? To sing for the Queen of England.

If you could own any priceless item in the world, what would it be? The Hope Diamond.

What is your favorite memory of touring? Meeting all my wonderful fans. It never ceases to amaze me how much of an impact I've made on people.

What is your favorite social media platform? Tiktok.

Why do you think you became so successful? I've been told my lyrics are meaningful, and fans can relate.

What is your dream animal/favorite animal? A snowy owl.

Do you ever plan to stop making music? No. Being away from music while the twins were babies was one of the most difficult times of my life.

Are you worried people won't connect with your new music? I used to, but I write the music I like. People's taste in music changes over time, so I understand if fans lose that connection.

What have been some of the struggles within your relationship due to you being famous? Being thrust in the limelight is not easy. When I came out, Nathan's private life disappeared overnight. It hasn't been an easy life for either of us, but we push on.

If you could say anything to somebody trying to make it in this industry, what would you tell them? Be yourself, and remain true to your values.

When did you first recognize that you are gay? Was it something you always knew or was it more of a journey to figure out? I always knew.

How does it feel knowing so many people love you without really knowing you personally? Weird, but comforting. This incredible journey taught me that my words have meaning.

When did you know for sure you were famous? I fully realized it when President Carrington mentioned me in her annual Christmas speech, before my first album debuted.

Do you look at other celebrities differently being famous as compared to before? As a teenager, I didn't really pay much attention to the rest of the world. Sure, I knew names, that happens when you have favorite actors and musicians. After fame, I realized we're all still people. Fame is like living in a padded bubble that exists separately from the real world. Living in this world, I understand why some celebrities act the way they do. There is endless pressure to outdo yourself, forever.

Las Vegas Update and New Album

The Las Vegas dates are confirmed, but I'm not allowed to announce them yet.

Also, I have been working on new music since the pandemic and made a new album. I titled it "Hope", and it will be released to coincide with the start of my Las Vegas residency. Stay tuned for dates!

Monday, April 4, 2022

Las Vegas, here we come!

Due to the pandemic, I never had the chance to return to the stage and perform for you. It's for the best, of course, but I miss singing in front of an audience.

That's all about to change, though.

Today, I signed a 3-year contract to perform in Las Vegas! We are still working out the dates.

Recipes

Like the rest of the world, Nathan, the kids, and I have been in seclusion since the pandemic started. I've watched tiktok's about people baking bread and learning new hobbies, so thought I would join in.

I've never been much of a chef, but here are two of my favorite recipes:

Apple & Pear Cake

1 and 1/4 cups vegetable or canola oil
2 cups granulated sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 Golden Delicious apple, peeled, cored, and cut in 1/2-inch chunks
1 Bartlett pear, peeled, cored, and cut in 1/2-inch chunks
1 cup roasted, salted pecans

Sift together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix the oil and sugar until combined. Add eggs, on at a time. Stir in vanilla.

Add the dry ingredients, in thirds, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in the fruit and nuts. Pour batter in a well-greased and floured Bundt pan, and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 90 minutes.

Bourbon Chicken

2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup apple juice
1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
Whisk all the ingredients together and pour in a crock pot.

Add in 2 pounds chicken breast (or pork loin), cubed.

Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 8 hours.

New Beginnings

I want to express my sincere gratitude to all my wonderful fans for sticking by me through the years and being so understanding while Nathan and I started a family.

Now that the twins are out of the toddler stage, I've decided it is time to return to music. Being a parent is amazing, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. But it's time I step back in the stadiums and do what I love.

I have been secretly working on a new album. It is titled "New Beginnings" and will be released December 24, 2019. Fifteen years after my first one. Fitting, isn't it?

Nathan and I would like to announce that we are officially parents!

The twins (a surprise, for sure!) were born yesterday afternoon. We love them so much.

We are refraining from showing photos in order to maintain some privacy.

Hiatus

I want the news to come from my lips, not the tabloids:

Nathan and I are having a baby, with a close friend as surrogate. The baby will be here in the summer.

In order to focus on my family, I am taking a hiatus from music.

Nathan and I will also be temporarily stepping away from our charity and suicide hotline, but have chosen proper replacements for the duration of our absence.

We want to thank everyone for their support and well-wishes, and look forward to our future as parents.

A great step forward!

Today, the United States supreme court legalized gay marriage! This is a huge win for all of us!

In honor of this momentous event, Nathan made a cake.

The Path album release date info

My new album "The Path" will be out June 22.
I've been working very hard on this record, in between making guest appearances on several tv sitcoms and even a cameo in a new movie that I cannot mention just yet! Everyone in Hollywood is so hush-hush about these things, and it is driving me crazy that I can't tell anyone about it.  It is so confidential that I am forbidden from even telling Nathan!

Oh well, such is the life of a rockstar.

My 21st birthday bash

Woo, what a weekend!

Nathan and I invited everyone we could think of, to stay with us at the Ritz-Carlton in New York City.
Much like my 19th birthday, the hotel crawled with celebrities. The only difference was, THIS time I could drink!

Nathan and I met so many of our favorite people, and I sit here writing this, stunned at the many wonderful opportunities like this, because of you guys, my incredible fans.  Without you, none of this would even be possible, and I would probably still be sitting at home with my parents dreaming about how I wanted my life to be.  But here I am, sitting on top of the world, with my amazing boyfriend and close friends, and my legion of fans around this amazing planet. Thank you all so much!

I can't wait to show you the great new music I've been working on! Hopefully you're gonna love it!
